Firefighters are highly trained in trauma care response, and provide first aid assistance where required.
As a firefighter, you will also find yourself working alongside a whole host of other professionals at the scene of an incident, such as the Police and Ambulance Service, but also with less obvious organisations such as the Environment Agency, the local authority and the army.
