Favourite part of my job
The variety that the role provides!
One minute I can be educating elderly members of my community on fire safety and prevention, the next I am commanding a team of firefighters to perform a rescue from Road Traffic Collision.
Hobbies and interests
I am a qualified pilot and fly fixed aircraft in my spare time. I also volunteer for a Mountain Rescue Team in the Yorkshire Dales.
